Overview
Roofs done properly - from the batten up
A roof only performs as well as the layers underneath the tiles. Most call-outs we go to are 30- to 50-year-old roofs where the felt has failed, the battens are soft or the flashings around the chimney have parted from the mortar. Patching the tiles alone rarely lasts long.
For a full re-roof, we strip back to the rafters, replace felt and battens, install any missing insulation or ventilation, then re-lay slates or tiles - reusing the sound ones where possible and matching new. Ridges are dry-fixed to current building regs so nothing lifts in a gale.
For repairs and storm work we're set up to move fast - temporary weatherproofing the same day where needed, then a proper permanent fix as soon as materials are on site.

Quote & scaffold
Written quote itemising materials and labour. Scaffold up, temporary weatherproofing if needed.

Strip & rebuild
For re-roofs: strip to rafters, replace felt and battens, add ventilation, re-cover in slate or tile.

Clean & guarantee
Guttering cleared, site swept, waste removed, written guarantee handed over on completion.
